1300 years old Islamic vase

Category
Asian Art
Condition
Good
Description

The guy I bought it from gets his stuff in the general auctions, where he picks up antiques. This vase was on his stall for a year before I noticed it and bought, as in that part of the town hardly anyone would notice Arabic date marks.

Condition is very good, it has no losses or damages and it is covered with a thick brown patina. Some corrosion and rust droplets inside. Pure copper, handbeaten. Bottom square stand seems to be tin-soldered as in places I can see tiny brass formations. The soldering has a pin hole damage, visible only under scrutiny (between the vase body and the square stand only, not right through).

If there is a buyer for it, best is probably to put it through eBay/PayPal, unless the buyer has an agent in New Zealand.

Furniture

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

There is no writing or distinguishing marks anywhere on the furniture, including on the back or underneath these two pieces. The drawers are dove-tail finished, and the original drawer knobs were iamond shaped antique silver.

I'm trying to determine if they're worth refinishing and staining to fix some of the scratches and marks on them.

Thank you!

Knife and fork set

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

There are 6 forks and knives, and appear to have an ivory handle on them.
There is an EP*NS on the back of the knives. There are ebgravings on the top of the knives and on the forks. I do not have these because they are my fathers.
If you cannot appraise with description, I will take some photos of them and send them to you. I believe these could possibly be from England as her family came from England. They are in a cutlery box that looks like it is very old, so I am guessing in the early 1900 or late 1800's.
