Hoping someone out there with their knowledge can help me date this settee? Mainly looking for a time period but any other information other than a settee would be helpful. Possible value range in its condition would be greatly appreciated. It is structurally sound just needs some cosmetic cleaning. Thanks in advance!
I have a cup & saucer I just bought and am wondering about the pattern name. The rim of the saucer is gold vines on a teal/blue background with three flower patterns around it. The cup looks like a demitasse cup. It does state that it was hand painted and made in occupied Japan.
This range was about to be thrown out since they were upgrading. The previous owner says the top right and bottom right burners are still operational, as well as both ovens and the clock. With a little restoring and electrical work, this Kelvinator would be up and running. Handles and drawer rails were removed to make moving the unit easier; they are included with the appliance.
This was given to me by my late Grandfather who was stationed in Japan. Not sure if it came from there or not. It maybe Resin, Ivory or even plastic. It is heavy. it is 6.5 inches tall and 8 inches long. Has no marks on it anywhere.
Oscar Schaller and Company porcelain china set, originally 12 place settings but missing a few pieces that broke over the years. Simple and elegant silver edge decoration. Available information online about the crowned "S&C" and "Bavaria, Germany" markings date this set circa 1918-1935. I am able to place the date more specifically around 1932 because that was the year my grandparents were married and originally acquired this set. I'm interested in getting an accurate value appraisal, and I might consider selling the set but I haven't decided yet.
