European market scene. Needs some repair to small paint chips flaking off. Otherwise it is in good shape.

On the left hand side inside the first drawer there is a circle with the name Malcolm in it.

This penny has a minting error.

I have looked for a similar in many resources and have not been able to find one like it.

I was told by a coin dealer that the coin was damaged. I viewed the coin under powerful magnification and there is no evidence of scratch marks, etc. If you look closely at the shape of the "9" in the date... the nine is not shaped like a standard nine and the date is clearly stamped... I don't see how any damage could change the shape of a numeral...
