MY father received this when he was very young (born 1912). There is one engine that is spring powered and had sections of track to make a circle of about 30". It is cast iron with no markings except for 190r inside one side of casting and 190l on the other side. The spring that powers it has come loose on the inside of the wind and does not work. I hesitate to take it apart to repair as I may not get it back together. It may hurt the value if worked on.
white serving platter with gold rim. the center of platter shows a picture of a woman dancing with a man and another man playing the flute. they are dressed in colonial wear. the back of the platter has a golden stamp that says the cronin china co. minerva, ohio 66 national brotherhood of operative potters union label with pictures of pottery.
tea cup with saucer, white with yellow roses and green leaves. there is a single yellow rose on the inside of the tea cup on the side. it is rimmed and decorated with gold. the bottom of the tea cup has the elizabethan fine bone china stamp with a small blue #2 and #'s written in gold-2891, then a gold 1 under those. the bottom of the saucer has the same traditional stamp with the #10 in blue. have searched but can't find one just like it.
