This set was purchased at least 50 years ago, and was polished every week. The owner took very good care of it. I'm not an expert, but it seems like it may be a centennial reproduction?
My wife and I rescued a Berkey and Gay Dining Table from a barn several years ago. It is in original condition and has been used for many a family dinner. The table measures 5'6" when stored and 10'1" when both 28" extensions are out. Basing the year between 1920 and 1940 due to the brass tag underneath what is the retail value of such a piece.
Hi, i have a Buying & Design S.p.A. (montespertoli florence) table or chair... Not sure. It has all official tags under it with a description of the antique. It has a old world reproduction finish. I have tried for weeks to find something about it on the net, but no luck. Thank you for your help.
In 2001 my MIL, a huge Gibb brothers fan, was bequeathed a mounted bell that had been on Andy Gibbs houseboat. We have the letter of the woman who bid on the bell at an auction in the November 19, 1988 Love and Hope Festival Auction in Miami, FL. I am including a photo of page 2 with the pictures of the bell, wherin she describes how she won that bid and requested autograps of all of the surviving Gibbs brothers on the bell.
