Alpha/Numeric sampler done by Amanda E Hammack, June 23, 1842. She was 15 years old. Several initials under date.

1 row of lower case alpha, 2 rows of upper case alpha, 3 rows of large font upper case alpha, 1 row of numeric (1-12).

Last 4 lines above bottom figures are exactly as follows:

This clear vase is 10 5/8" tall with a top opening of 3 3/4" and a bsse of 4". It has 4 slight mold marks on the base with a 24 star pattern on the base going into a diamond pattern and inside that there is a small 14 point star pattern. This is on the underside of the base. If you look  you can see all this looking down on the vase. The stem of the vase is 8 sided with what I think they call a zipper or file cut on it. Since I am new to glass I don't quite know what the pattern is. Maybe a pressed star or flower pattern in a diamond shape and maybe small diamonds with a raised dot or button pattern. The main pattern is topped wth scallops. Between the scallops and the top of the vase is clear glass. The top opening has a very a small notch pattern all around the top. The only blemesh is a very small chip or rough spot on one of the mold lines. I have looked for months on the internet and can not find anything like it.

Beautiful 1932 cigarette and compact holder. The compact is on the front opens with a latch, has a red stone on the front of the compact. It has a mirror and powder with pad inside, along with I think a pill case, I'm not sure. Cannot find anything that even looks like it on line. I believe that it is truely one of a kind. It has no marks of any kind as to a trade mark.
