Chippewa Salt Sack

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

This is a sack my Grandmother would buy her salt in. It has a figure of, I'm assuming a Chippewa Indian Chief on the front. Then Chippewa Medium Salt. from The Ohio Salt Co., Wadsworth, Ohio. 100 lbs. net when packed. Trademark Registered 1901. That is all I know about it. The cloth is in excellent condition and the writing and figure on the sack are in readable condition. A tat faded, but maybe that is the way it was printed.
