This tea set has teapot, creamer, sugar bowl,10 tea cups,12 little plates. The pieces are all painted black but show the white porcelain on the bottom where they are all stamped by Hoechster. They are all trimmed with gold and the cups are gold on the inside almost all the way up with gold on the handles. All of the pieces also have a bloomed pink rose with a rose bud.The lid of the teapot also has two little rose buds on it with gold top and trim. The spout and handle of the teapot are also gold. The lid of the sugar bowl also has the small pink rose buds and gold top and trim. They are all in extremely excellant condition. No breaks, chips or scratches,no fading.Beautiful.I was hoping to find out more about the set and get an idea of how much they could be worth.I appreciate any info. Thanks!
This silver plated bowl by E.G. WEBSTER & SON was passed down to me through the family,as far as I know it's from sometime in the late 1800's since the E.G. WEBSTER & SON company was started in that time period. I'd like to know what it really is used for, what it's worth and a possible year of manufacture?
Table top surface is scratched from use, bases, supports and sides are highly carved and in good condition. Pictures available but are slightly larger than 1MB, so I can't upload them.
Has been in our home since new.. has been in same location in living room, away from direct sun, temperature changes etc. . rarely played, beautiful French Provincial cabinet.
