This belonged to my Grandmother and was probably acquired in the 1960's. Other than that, I cannot find anything on this piece. I'd just really like to know any info anyone may have as far as artist (signed in Japanese), value if any, materials used, and time period.  Thanks!

THE LID SWIVELS TO OPEN, THE HANDLE IS ON THE FRONT, IT HAS 4 LEGS, AND IS VERY FANCY

No tears or rips in fabic. No stains.

This item is priceless to me but I would like to know value, if any. It has some condition issues. Mainly scratches and some carvings on the inside. The legs are a bit wobbly now also.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
