this is a small chalkboard that a friend said may have been used as a salesman sample and i do not have a picture of this board at this time. It is 26x19 with a wood shelf at the bottom to hold chalk. It also has a logo at the top that reads National school slate company Slatington penn.

Cover has mild soil. Edges and corners of boards are a bit worn. Some water damage upper left corner front and back. Binding is looser in the front. Two old pencil and ink gift inscriptions.

I bought it at an estate sale.  Has original hang tags.  One ear has some mildew damage but other than that it is in good shape.  No tears or other soiled areas.  It does squeak when mashed.

 3 side drawers and 1 center.

I bought this at an estate auction about 15 yrs ago. There was no history to it. It is stained a dark walnut, but have no idea what type of wood it is. Inside is all red cedar. I have tried to research 'Acme Chests' red cedar, trademark Niles, Michigan which is on a metal tag on the inside of the lid, to no avail. Would love if anyone has anything they could tell me about this.
