1913 Pittsburgh Art Nouveau Mushroom Table Lamp

Description

Art nouveau table lamp designed and made by Pittsburgh Art Glass & Lamp Co. in 1913. Approx. 14" high and wide. Bronze base with mushroom shaped glass top. Glass is crazed finish similar to window frost. Glass has three painted panels. Panels are painted gold with burgandy flowers.  Single lightbulb in base. Glass mushroom globe provides beautiful, warm light when turned on.

Description

Beautiful oil painting by unknow artist (no signature).  It is a longer than wide portrait.  Beautiful scenery of a small cottage along a river surrounded by forest with a river through the middle of the landscape.  Appears to be late summer/early fall with leaves starting to change to fall colors
