1 long drawer in the middlew/ 1 lrg.door on each side. inside drawer has 3 sections(1lrg. on left side-2 sm. on right.) front bows outward.Drawer about 5in. in depth and the front middle portion only continues halfway or middle point of the side cabinet.

I received this chest from my inlaws.  It needs to be cleaned but other than that no damages.  I started to clean the copper since it is dying to show its color

 "Geistlicher Schild" means "spiritual shield."  This is a miniature magic book from the 17th century.  Here is its complete title: Geistlicher Schild gegen Geist- und leibliche gefährlichkeiten allzeit bey sich zu tragen :
darinnen sehr kräftige Segen und Gebet, so Theils von Gott offenbaret von der Kirchen und H.H. Vätern gemacht, und von Urbano VIII. Röm. Pabst approbiret worden : zum Trost aller christglaubigen sonderlich deren, so zu Wasser oder Land reisen, damit sie nach Kraft dieses bey sich tragenden Schilds, vor vielen Gefahren erhalten werden.This is from someone else but I need to know is it worth anything and any info someone might have.

French provincial style.  Green satin brocade floral pattern, 6 legs, on the couch.  Chair is wingback.  Carved Cherry wood detailing.
