Kestner Bisque doll

Category
Dolls and Plush Toys
Condition
Fair
Description

The doll is about 20" high. Her hair is sewn onto a netting material and that is glued onto her head, quite firmly. After careful examination I can not find any country listed as origin. The numbers 7 3/4 & 154 are found just under the lower part of the wig. Further down as in picture there is a CT (?) that is written in maybe pen (?) She has beautiful brown eyes and open mouth with 4 teeth. I tried taking a picture of the numbers but they didn't come out real good. She has a little necklace on her but don't know if that came with the doll or was added by someone. Her socks and shoes can come off, I think. I don't like to pull around on her too much as she is very fragile.

The only thing I know for sure about this doll was that it did belong to my Great Aunt. She slept with this doll most of her life. [Long story :) ]

I would like to have her restored but afraid if would be very costly. Really don't know what to do. Sell her so she can be preserved or leave like she is?

Cast Iron Mechanical Birdie Putt Bank

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Excellent
Description

This mechanical bank is roughly 8.75" x 6.25" x 3.5".  All the parts are present and in excellent working condition.  There are two very small white chips to the paint on the front edge of the bank.  Place a coin on the "tee" area and push the button behind the caddy.  The caddy raises the flag and the coin goes in for a hole in one.

Inside the bank at the top is a red hand-written number 3038.  It is also stamped on the side of the "Birdie Putt" shield on the front of the bank.

I'd like to know any information available about this bank, particularly a manufacturer, and of course the value.

Wakefield Pocket watch

Category
Watches and Timepieces
Condition
Fair
Description

I bought this pocket watch at a second hand store. I don't know anything about it. The inside of the watch is really the most interesting part of the pocket watch, it is in great shape. In the detail of the decoration there are lots of flowers and a mans face with an extented moustache Much like the 'late 18th century duplex by Mark McCabe' @ http://www.antique-watch.com/des/w7951.html . The front face is plane with roman numerals. Its missing the short hand and has a small crack near the five also the case is missing the glass. The key is missing also.
