I'm wondering if this is a real Delft, maybe a unique piece? I don't know anything about Delft, other than normally it's blue and white. This is a numbered piece with gold on the top of the vase. Very unique piece.
I'm unsure of the value of this vase. was left to me by my mother who received it from her mother in law. Any comments would be appreciated. It has no chips or scratches and is in excellent condition.
i fell in love with this ten years ago in an antique shop. I was told it was a doll sofa. Since then, someone who saw it told me it was a rare salesman's sample of a sofa. When i figure out how to use my new digital i can post pictures. It is upholstered in a burgandy-ish velvet. I do not know if velvet is original. Just curious. Can't find anything like it in many online searches and auctions. Thanks for anything you can tell me.
Rosewood(?) dresser with 2 small & 4 large locking drawers. Mirror back-mounted to top. Front surface is curved similar to } only rounded in the center. Beautiful piece in excellent condition. No idea on manufacture date; was owned by grandparents who were both in their 90's. Piece has been with them since at least the 60's. Alexander H. Revell, Chicago IL nameplate on back uses "old-style" script. My guess is it is 1940's or older.
