Was told that this was made in Peru. There were 6 of them made. This one made its way up to a second hand store in Seattle, WA and purchased in 1940 by my great grandfather.
They are white plates with with a gold ring on the outter edge of the plate and six wheat heads on the face. On the back is the Edwin and Knowls china CO. Made In U.S. 43-9 Semi Vitreous, stamp.

This is a the December 1906 issue of "The Designer" magazine. I currently do not have a picture available, but on the cover is a woman dressed in a beautiful purple dress with a white fur muff. She is walking in a snow storm, and there is a crow/raven on a branch looking down at her. It is in very good condition. The inside of the magazine is chocked full of prints, ads, and designs for the latest fashions of the day. I've been looking for information on this magazine for quite some time, but am even having trouble finding any issues of it at all. Thanks for your help.
