11 cups, 10 saucers, serving dishes as shown, I believe 12 plates. White China with gold line around the edges. Some of the gold has rubbed off the handles on the two round serving dishes.
Unfortunately the seams at the front where the front and the sides join together are warping and towards the top they are coming apart a little. The top of the chest has some scratches and water rings. The inside of course is perfect. It looks like it might have a chip on the top left hand corner of the lid as you are facing it also.
This is a beautiful piece standing about six feet high. It has leaded glass doors on top that lock; mail slots and drawers when desktop is open. Bottom drawers also lock.
i have tried to find info on this table and chairs and so far my best guess is that it might be a Alfons Bach design or possibly KEM Weber.I am finding it difficult to get much photographic evidence using the internet to help me in my quest for info on this piece.
