Stained Glass Lamp

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

I'm trying to find out anything I can about this lamp.  The owner believes it's over 100 years old as she is 94 and it belonged to her Mother.  It's extremely heavy and was difficult to inspect because of that.  I did find some markings on the bottom of the base but the first part of it was really worn.  The last part looked like it could be the numbers 160 or 180.

I didn't take the dimensions but it was probably 30" or so inches high.  The lamp shade was easily 24 or more inches in diameter.  The finial on top isn't original but the rest of the lamp is.

Two Piggy Banks

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

Hey everyone! I have these two adorable piggy banks but I have no clue where they are from.

My great aunt collected many things and passed them along to me. I have always been fond of these little guys and have never been able to figure out who made them.

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a clone to them or maybe who made them.

I would appreciate as much information as I can get.

The details.

Two Piggy Banks.

Both have a number on the bottom.

The larger: 59

The Smaller: 29

I have looked everywhere for a signiture but have failed.

I did notice on the small one it appears to say "US" or "USA" very small on the bottom

Unfortunatly that is all I know about these. I was wondering if you think they may be hand made by someone, if so why the numbers?

I'd also appreciate any theories on how old they may be or when they were made.

Thanks,

Cherie

rocking chair

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I believe it may be hand made. It is about 34" tall, 13" seat depth, and 17" wide. It has unusual cane spokes on the top half of the seat back and between the legs in the front. It also has no arms. Someone painted it black and I believe the wicker seat may have been replaced because it's inn excellent condition. Other than being painted this chair is in great condition.
