Bought these from an antique store one is a machete and the other lo0ks like a small hunting knife. Ive never seen the markings on them anywhere cant tell if they are african or some kind of lost island tribe. First i want to know if anyone can identify where they might be from. Also i would like to know a value if any. Thanks to whomever can help me
This pin was purchased at an estate sale for $1. It is in good condition and feels light. The backside has two long pins. The letters GAR are in the center of two laurel branches. Does anyone know how much it is worth?
2 HAND PAINTED LAMPS FROM FRANCE. BOTH HAVE PAINTINGS ON EACH SIDE. THEY STAND ABOUT 3 FEET TALL. ONE LAMP HAS "GILLET" SIGNATURE ON PAINTING THE OTHER HAS NOTHING. THERE WERE WHITE SILK SHADES BUT THEY ROTTED OFF FROM BEING IN STORAGE FOR 20 PLUS YEARS. THE FRAME FOR THE LAMPSSHADES ARE GOOD. THESE HAVE BEEN IN MY FAMILY FOR THE LAST 48 YEARS THAT I KNOW OF. I DO NOT KNOW THE AGE OF ORIGIN OF THESE LAMPS. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LAMP IT SAYS HAND PAINTED IN FRANCE.
i WOILD LIKE TO FIND OUT WHAT THESE LAMPS ARE WORTH PLEASE...I WAS GOING TO GET NEW SILK SHADES MADE WHICH ARE EXPENSE AND PUT THEM IN MY LIVING ROOM. JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE IT IS WORTH IT BEFORE I DO.
