CHESS BOARD

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

I came across a wooden chess board a few weeks back and it has some stamped ink words on the under side of the main board. It has " SAN ANTONIO " but cant make out much more than that. It has a marble board on the main play section that is over an inch thick , but unfortunately the blue and white squares are damaged in one of the corner sections of it. It is made of thick wood and is pretty sturdy.

Anyone have an ideal on the value or the age of it?

Waterfall style chest of drawers

Category
Art Deco and Art Nouveau
Condition
Fair
Description

We were given a waterfall style chest of drawers and matching dresser. some of the hardware is missing and there are some small chips in the veneer. However the tops of the peices  were covered with glass so they are in excellent condition with no marks. The chest of drawers measures 41 inches wide and 53 inches tall. I wanted to know if these date to the 1920's and how much it might be worth? The drawers are dovetailed.

Mid-Century

Category
American Furniture
Description

Hi There,  I purchased this set several years ago in Albany, NY.  The seller told me it was designed by a famous architect located in the Albany/Hudson, NY area.  I would love to find out some more information about the pieces.  however, there is no mark on the table, only the chairs.  The symbol or signature is a "B" inside a "G".  I thought it might have been Conant Ball, but it is a differnt symbol. If someone has any idea who designed this, please let me know.  Thanks so much!
