I have a large yellow framed classic pooh picture. Pooh is picking up pone cones. The back of the frame has brown paper as a back instead of cardboard. It looks like the picture is done on cardboard all one piece the actual picture of pooh is surrounded by white to sort of fram it in but is printed as one piece and says pooh at the bottom.
I obtained a pair of these vase from a estate sale. it s in very good condition except a few cracks on the latticed area on one of the vase and a small chip (which was glued back) on the other vase as shown on the last photos. The porcelan vase was mark on the bottom "DIHOLEVI 500 Italy". I think it is also signed by the artist on the body of the vase, but I can recognize the spelling. The overall measurement is 19" tall, the porcelain vase is about 15" tall and 9" wide.
I came across this scrimshaw pendant in the estate sale of a Nagel beverage company heiress in Idaho. The piece appears to be either ivory or bone, but I am thinking maybe ivory due to graining and yellowing of the piece. The artist has signed N. Clark. I found another piece from the same artist on the internet, but the ship's detail was more elaborate in that piece; which makes me think that this one may have been an earlier practice piece.
Can someone help me with artist information, approx. age, ivory or bone? Thanks
I received this from my mother-in-law who is moving and didn't want to take it with her. Its not my style and before I stick it up in my attic, I'd like to know if its worth anything. It seems to be a "textured" print. It measures 28x60 and is in pretty good condition. It seems that there's quite a few around, but I'm not able to find a value (if any) for it. Can anyone help?
