1910 Singer Redeye Sewing Machine with Cabinet

By leggs1969, 13 May, 2010
Description

I would like to sell a vintage Singer Sewing Machine with cabinet, but I can't determine the value. The model number is G7848221. The machine appears to work (belt moves and nothing appears frozen), but I don't have a needle to determine if will actually sew. I'm not positive that the cabinet is original. The history that I am finding says this is a Redeye model number 66. The faceplate that covers the bobbin is missing. I am very willing to provide any other information. I would provide more, but am not sure what information is even needed.

Your machine and cabinet appear to be in lovely condition, but unfortunately even amount hard core collectors values for 20th century Singers is rather modest. We routinely see these machines sell for anywhere from $50.00- $150.00 at auction.

Re: 1910 Singer Redeye Sewing Machine with Cabinet

Thank you for your reply and for your input. The machine and cabinet are in lovely condition and I have to admit I was hoping that it was worth something closer to $200 - $300, but this gives me a starting/reference point so thank you again for your time :)
