My grandmother purchased this knitting machine from the Gearhart Knitting Machine Co. in Sept. of 1923. I have the original knitting contract between Gearhart and my grandmother in which she agrees to knit "Allwear" hosiery at the rate of $1.75 per doz. for 3 years in order to pay for the knitting machine and accessories. The contract is signed by E. J. Gearhart, gen. mgr. I also have other letters as well as the original instruction booklet. Photos are available but I'm without a computer and can only send them via text msg. There will be some pictures posted on my Facebook page (Daune Ketelaar).
