1930s Compote Crystal Glass Dish with tear drops on brass pedestal

Description

Crystal cut glass dish standing on an ornate brass pedestal.  There is a large cut glass /crystal in the middle of the base directly under the brass out leafing.  The outleafing is adorned with tear drop cut glass crystals. In the center on the dish there is a brassmedallion type peice.   When light hits the glass you can see a beautiful display of colors.

History This dish was my Grandmother's. I remember it and can glimpse it in pictures throughout my life (39 years). During holidays there might be wrapped mints or licorice in it, but was usually empty, polished and displayed. Has been boxed p for many years now.
