3B 8 Part Brain Model made in West Germany

By BioMarauder44, 4 February, 2019
Description

Brain model made in West Germany by 3B scientific.

I was hoping to narrow down when this was manufactured. The company still exists and they still make a version of this model, with a few differences. I have contacted the company and they weren't very helpful. www.a3bs.com

https://www.a3bs.com/brain-model-8-part-1000225-c17-3b-scientific,p_13_…

1. West Germany means it is at least 30 years old.

2. The 3B logo is a different design and raised rather than printed on.

3. No pins or clasps to keep it together

4. The base keeps the model upside down

Other things to note: There are no patent numbers or other defining markings anywhere other than the 3B logo and "made in west germany" on the rear top and center bottom of the base respectively. All other markings are numbers and letters dictating different parts of the brain.

I have only come into possession of the model recently and do not know any history on it prior to my acquisition of the brain.

Any information on this or even some history of the company in West Germany is greatly appreciated.
