The picture is a picture by Currier and Ives. The picture is in pretty good condition. We found it on the back of a pick-up truck cause it was about to be burned but he gave it to us instead.

You first have to find out if it's original, a reprint, or even possibly once part of an old calendar. The Currier and Ives prints have been subject to huge amounts of reproduction. There are a number of ways to determine if what you have is an original, here's a link to that information.
