Description
Amphora relief vase with plug. No markings on it that I can see. All of the spirals that connect to the neck are different sizes. There are two fish total, one on each side. They are different sizes. The inside is a grey color. Looks like the colors used were red, green, and yellow. The bottom of the vase looks like red and grey sandy material. Large crack in the side. Plug is an irregular shape. Some areas look glazed around the handles and the rim however the rest of the item is rather rough. Minor nicks and chips throughout. Approximate weight is somewhere between 8 and 15 pounds. 16" height and 7" width at base. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
