Description

I have a madonna hummel that I think is a production mistake. She is white with full halo. On the bottom is the full bee that dates back to the 1950's. The problem is the number on the bottom is 46/0. Isnt the number for madonnas WITH halos suppose to be 45?? Please help me I cannot find any information online!!

There are a confusing number of Hummel/Goebel Madonnas, sometimes I think even Hummel is not sure about them all ;~) There is mention in literature regarding the numerical markings being misapplied on the white madonna's, so it's not rare. For value, I'm not sure, in the current market values for hummels has been in decline for a number of years now. I'd suggest checking liveauctioneers.com for current auction values for the Madonna's, because that's likely all you will get for one these days, an auction value.
