Description
The frame is extremely heavy and made from cast metal (iron) with a beautiful brass/bronze colored finish. The focal point of the frame is the lady in the center, arms outstretched wearing a beautiful billowy sleeve, flowing dress. She has long hair with a star studded diadem. The sides of the frame are incredibly detailed as well, featuring trees, vines, and flowers.

Distinguishing marks
The back of the frame features a folding easel stand. In the metal itself you can see the words "Louisiana Purchase" in reverse. There are other markings as well, including the number "603" (also in reverse) but I can't make them out. There is some type of signature or stamp on the front right corner of the frame near the bottom.
