Description
I know very little about antique, so if anyone can tell me anything it will be appreciated. This was my first piece of furniture, and it will remain in the family, but I would just like to be able to tell them something about it.

Re: Antique Bed would like idea of style and time period
It's a Victorian "Cottage Style" piece, loosely based on the Renaissance Revival style. These were made from the 1840's through 1870's. The darker bits are walnut.
