Description

This bedroom set was painted the turquoise seen on the washstand. My parents had the rest of the set stripped when the bought it (1960s). All pieces are very heavy and all are on wheels. I haven't been able to find similar sets in an online search. I'm looking for information about the set and what its value might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be French Empire in style, but dates from the turn of the 19th century to about World War One. Not a great demand for the style currently, demand last peaked during the early 1990's. Right now comparable beds sell at auction for $250.00- $400.00 each.
