Antique Canning Jar

Antique canning jar with glass screw on lid. "ECLIPSE JAR" on the side. Lid reads "PAT^D SEPT 12^th 1882 JAN 2^D 1883" in an outer ring. Inner ring reads "ECLIPSE JAR" Glass has a blue green tint to it. This jar has been in my husband's family for years. His Grandmother had it when he was a child and he remembers that she "guarded it" from anyone handling it.
