Description
I know very little about this pitcher. It is something my grandparents bought over 60 years ago and they told me it was old at the time they got it. The only marks are on the bottom. A stamped in "283" and red hand-written numbers, as you can see in the photo. It stands about 16" tall and is about 10" at its widest. There are raised gold flowers painted on both sides. The inside of the shell "spout" is a muted pink. It is VERY ornate with crabs, shells, turtles and fish. I've done lots of research and haven't found another pitcher like this so I'm hoping some of you can help. Thank you!
