Children's Ice Cream Palor or Soda Fountain table & chair set. In fairly good condition. I'm not sure what type of wood it is but it is made with wrought iron and still has just about all the original nails & patina. Most I've ever done with it is Pledge or Old English oil. This set was bought in an antiques shop by my grandfather supposedly when I was born in 1976 (as the story goes). It has lasted thru my 2 sisters & myself and now my 9 yr old son is WAY too big to use it much anymore. It's been from California (possible where it was bought) to Hawaii to Las Vegas and now here to Spicewood, TX. I would just really love to know more about it, where it came from, who made it, what it may be worth now days, maybe possibly sell it or keep it, depending on what you wonderful people can tell me about it. As you can see there are some crayon/marker marks, water marks left from sweating drinks or possibly watercolor painting. We've done everything with this set, I still use the chairs as my step stools for items above my head.
