Antique christening dress from Britain

Description

The gown has detailed lace/tatting/eyelet down the entire front of the gown in a horizontal pattern.  The bottom of the gown has an edging of the same detail.  The back is plain but has ties to close the gown.  It is white, but yellowing just a bit with age.  It is 40 inches long from top of shoulder to bottom edge.

My mother bought this in an antique store in Glasgow Scotland in 1991 as a gift to me. My husband and I were unable to have children. So we never used it. Would consider selling. I would appreciate any info possible.
