I inherited this from my mother who inherited from her aunt from Michigan. It was in my great-aunt's house when I was a little girl in the 1960's. If she bought it after getting married, it dates to the early 1900's as she married in 1914. I do not know if she bought it or inherited it. It has all the original hardware. I was told it is tiger oak but I don't know for sure. It is a beautiful piece. I have no idea as to its value for insurance purposes or for sale. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
