Antique Dresser with Beveled Mirror

By SNewman, 18 July, 2012
Description

I inherited this antique dresser from my father who purchased it from an antique dealer in the late 70's.  It has been in storage for the last ten years.  I cannot find any identifying marks or maker information and after numerous website searches, I have been unable to find anything remotely close to it.  It is in overall "good" condition, but sitting in the garage is taking a toll on it.  I am not sure if I want to restore it or sell it.

I just have no idea what I might have.  It is too fragile to haul around for appraisals, and I have been unable to locate anyone to come out to look at it without charging a fee.

Measurements as follows:

Dresser w/o mirror:
L=60"
H = 37 1/2 "
W=19"

Dresser with mirror:
H=76 3/4" (+ top "scroll" which measures 7 1/4")

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Antique Dresser with mirror

This buffet dates from 1900-1910, the drawer pulls are the give away, being Art's & Crafts/Art Nouveau in style. It appears to be in good shape, we'd retail one like this for about $1500.00 these days.
