Antique Dresser with beveled mirror on harp style stand

By Matt Saputo, 12 June, 2020
Description

This Oak Dresser has a beautiful scalloped bureau top that overhangs the 4 drawers below.  The top two drawers have elegantly rounded fronts.  Beveled glass mirror with wooden accent at top of oak frame can tilt on harp syle supports.  Harp Mirror with frame can easily be removed from the bureau for moving and transport.  Bottom front has a graceful scalloped facade. All four drawers have dovetail construction.

Dimensions:  42-1/2" wide x 20" top depth at sides and 21" top depth at scallops x 32" bureau height and 34" high mirror with stand.

History: The dresser was previously professionally refurbished with a warm oak stain. I purchased the dresser at an outdoor Antique Market in Utica, MI in 1990.

Can you tell me the pieces age and furniture style?  Please provide an estimated value and a current sale price.  Thank you.
