Description

I do not know much about this watch. Just that it came from a deceased family member. The watch has four little diamonds on the front of it and the watch doesn't work currently but may just need a battery. If anyone could maybe tell me the year of this watch and how much they think it's worth please

Re: Antique Elgin 10K GF wrist watch

I have one Exactly Like it..........I am 76 yrs old and My Mother and Father Purchased it for me for my 16th Birthday........1959          So it's about 47 Yrs Old.I tried to get it repaired but couldn't find a jewerler who could repair old Watches........They told me it was wind up and the spring needed replacing......Which was hard to get...So   Unless it is sentimental to keep as it is or Sell it to an watch collector for whatever you can get.......  (There are chipped diaminds) i don't know what the value on them would be.Maybe a jeweler would pay you for the dimonds and the Silver???
