the chairs are hand carved,you can tell that because the carvings are not exact on both chairs. the spindles even look a little different.they may be lathed. dont think the table was made to go with them but it is a perfect match. i remember these chairs having a gold velour cloth on them. my aunt had them redone,the wood has been revarnished also.the age is only hearsay. the man dad bought them from in the 40's said they were 150 years old at the time. i would like to know if the age is right and if anyone knows where they were made. and of course the value of them. they are not for sale
