Description my husband is 54 years old and this chair has been in his family at least that long. It is all hand carved..it is known as the ugly chair.. But I believe that is an exquisite piece of art.. Very sturdy and a unique base.. Some of the pictures look like it has a red tint but the close ups of the face is the true color ..it is in amazing condition.. no scratches dings or puppy teeth marks..lol..I believe it is a one of a kind.. but I do not know its origin or anything else about its history..I would appreciate any helpful information.. Thank you

Size and dimensions of this item approximately 5 foot plus inches tall.. tapering back..seat is approximately 14 to 15 inches wide and tapers as it meets the back
Date Period really not sure.. It's been in existence a little over 50 years then I am sure of
Weight I would guess 20 to 25 pounds
