Description

Matching pair of two lovely porcelain pitchers. Colors are dusky rose pink with flowers and green leaves. There are bunches of grapes. Some of the grapes and leaves are raised giving the appearance of a sculpted effect.

There is gold trim around the rim of the pitchers. The handle of the pitches have three heart shaped stems in a cream color accented by gold. The top of the handle has raised swirl that go around the handle. There is some loss of the gold around the rim; otherwise it is in excellent condition - no chips or cracks.

The bottom of the pitcher is engraved with H&Co; the o is underlined and in the apostrophe position. Above H&Co is a shield with a circle above it. The letter "R" is in the center. The number "1" is at the bottom of the shield. In the circle above the shield is the letter "n" or a backward "z". Next to the shield is the imprinted letter "M" which I assume is the initial of the artist.

The jar is the exact same pattern but has two handles. There is no lid. The jar has two handles. There is loss of the gold around the rim. The bottom has the same engravings as the pitcher, with the difference being there is no letter "M."
