Description
My husband finds all sorts of bottles at his work. It looks to me like a old medicine bottle but we cannot find ANY information on it at all! On the bottom it is engraved B.D. & CO. Rutherford, NJ. It's pretty small the a little bigger then my palm and I'm average medium girl hands. There is a seam on the side of the bottle but the top looks like it was melted in seperatly. Any info on this would be awesome! Thank u!
Re: Antique medicine bottle?
This could be an ink bottle.. I have some nearly the same in my collection.. here in the UK.
Re: Antique medicine bottle?
it looks much like a small pill bottle or worm expectorant pill bottle possably ,Becton dickson & co . they made medical equipment also. bottle just embossed on the bottom and this style rarely have much value. it does sem to be applied top bottle made before 1915. i can only see this bottle brining 2-5$ under normal circumstances. similar shaped bottom embossed bottles rarely bring much more than that. a collector of the medical equipment that was related to him may be much moreintersted and may pay more . finding that person is like a needle in a haystack.
