Description
Hi there, I would be grateful if someone could help me gather some information regarding my grandmother's gold Noritake coffee set. The backmark seems to identify the set as being made exclusively for the Commonwealth of Australia market, possibly around 1933 or so, but that's about all we've been able to establish so far. I've not seen any photographs of anything like it anywhere other than on a YouTube posted inMay 2014 so finding out more about it has proved really hard. I know she was given it some time in the 1930s, possibly just before the war but I would love to know something about it's history etc. Unfortunately I didn't know it existed while she was still alive and able to tell me a bit about it.
