Its hard to tell because I can not read the hallmark clearly by your pictures. My first impression is this is not an antique (an antique piece needs to be in excess of 100 yrs old) but a vintage piece. My gut feeling definately is post 1930-1940
Some clarification on providence, when, where it came from, what you have been told would help in any valuation of the piece.
