Searching for a pattern name or any info on this possibly 19th century silver carving knife and fork set in box. It came from my Grandparents' estate. It looks handed down to them. I'm not sure which side of the family it came down, British or German. My guess is Pennsylvania Dutch. German immigrants came through NY to PA, OH and N Indiana. Any information is a blessing. Thank you. Blades clearly show the stamp 'Stainless'. Handles have no markings at all that I see. Handles have not been polished. Is it possible the stainless blades were soldered onto the original handles? There is a single flower at the tip, not a rose. And one plant at the joint that looks like a cat tail. Same on both sides.
