Description This set is listed as Prestige****Plate. Grenoble is the pattern. I believe Oneida changed it in 1951. The chest is in good condition. The silverware is tarnished from not being used. My family did however use it up until around 1992. I then put it all away.

Values for 20th Century silver plate is currently in a slump, due to the large amount of it in the market. This is a result of numerous estate clearances by Baby Boomers of their parent's belongings. Today we see comparable sets sell at auction for under $200.00.
