Description

I purchased this antique dresser from Facebook marketplace with the intentions to paint it. Upon getting it home, I noticed the tag in the drawer as well as the unusual styling of the piece. I also discovered writing on the bottom. I have been unable to find anything that comes close to this online. Does anyone have any idea of what this is? What wood? Year? Certainly it's been painted? My best guess is it's maybe a dressing table or sideboard? The name written on the bottom is A. S. MANEVAL with the address of 1050 Vine Ave., Williamsport, PA (I have been able to confirm a gentleman with this name lived at this address in the 1900's) and what I think says DECORATOP and also the numbers stamped on the back 12899844. Thank you for any feedback!
