Description
Huge antique stacking cabinet marked Yawman & Erbe MFG Co. Rochester NY. Original oak patina. Most of the hardware is original with exception to some newer screws that were added on. Most of the drawers have the little yawman & erbe logo plate. There are 19 that are missing. There are scratches on the side...as seen in one of the photos. There are also some minor wood pieces missing on the side. Comes apart in 5 sections. The pull handles are brass. All of the drawers open easily. Would like to know the value...as I have't seen any cabinet like this by Yawman & Erbe. Thanks!

I found one almost exactly like this recently at an antique shop. Sadly I think the top layer is either missing or getting repaired (they have the drawers, just not the cabinet portion) Since then, I've recently been doing some research on old Yawman and Erbe card catalogs, and I've found plenty of smaller ones (such as a few 4 drawer chests that look to be much newer) going for around $100, so I have no idea what a huge cabinet like this would bring. I'd be very interested to find out as well.
