Description
This painting is on leather over wood. The frame looks original to painting.The painting looks very old and has worm holes and crazing in the paint. Looks like a Russian icon painting but have never seen one like this before. It was bought in NYC in the 80s. Has never been appraised so not sure if it's origin or age. If anyone can give their input on this painting about it's origin and age and possible worth would be greatly appreciated.

Have had the painting for three years. The painting came from a man who had a very large collection it was purchased in NYC in the 1980's unknown how much it cost.
