Description

Its a 1920's era black bakelite phone, that works, and it is hooked up to ring. Dial turns, you can hear very well on it and I use it in my other room, I sometimes use it instead of modern phones to talk for you can hear very clearly on it. You can't dial out, but you can dial out on a modern phone and pick up the call as an extension phone.

History I bought this at the Aberfoyle Antique and Flea Market, from Lorne Young, who bought them and fixed them to ring with adapters to be able to take calls, and it does work, but you can't dial out. I still have his card. Iiked the phone so much I made payments on it all summer until it was paid off. 1990 I still have the payment schedule we had made up.
